Why is it so hard to get over our ex’s ?

    teenagedcrisis:

Because being with a lover for a long period of time supposedly affects the chemicals in our brains, and when that person is suddenly removed from our life, we go through a form of withdrawal, like from a drug. That is why it is so hard for a dumped person to refrain from contacting the ex; because they feel desperate to “feel good” again, to get that “hit” so to speak. It’s very difficult.
